Shane Vander Hart
has accepted the
call to be our Interim Pastor until we call a pastor full-time. He
is currently Director of Ministries and Volunteer Development with Serve
Our Youth Network in Des Moines. He served as Interim Student
Ministries Director at First Baptist Church in Pella during 2006 and
2007.
Shane and his wife,
Cheryl, have three children, and are members of
Valley Church in West Des Moines.
Shane says, "I look forward to participating
in this new church as we serve the residents and families of
Indianola and students at Simpson College. I feel blessed to be
chosen to encourage Grace weekly from God’s word and am excited to
serve. If you currently do not have a church home we’d love to
